I see that absolute majority of negative revies are from very early released game and from my current experience i must say yes, there are issues which shouldn't be, but perfect gameplay makes up for every single one of them. So I would say, if You like HoMM 3definitely go for this one.

I am enjoying every moment spent with the game and surely will play it for a long time. I think in-game graphic is very good and gameplay perfect. I even love campaign stories eventhough I don't care much about those. Finally I feel desire to discover and conquer like I haven't felt for a long time. So far I have finished two campaigns - Haven and Necro and played two single scenarios. I don't like longer loading times either and cutscenes are really poor for this age. I have encountered especially inventory issues and missing creatures in a fight mode (there is workaround for that). I play game with patch 1.6 and yes, there are bugs.

I played all games in series and none came even close to HoMM 3. I decided to write my first comment ever I about any game after reading all these negative reviews.
